Is tandem compulsory to become a skydiver ?
No you don't have to :)
You can either :
- Directly start a course ( SL or PAC)
- Perform the first jump of these courses, just to check if you like it.
- Do a tandem jump, just to check if you like it, without being worried about theory.

Can Anyone jump ?
In France,you must be 16 to jump.
Concerning tandem jumps, there is a weight limit of 90 kg (198 lbs).

Is it an expensive sport ?
The jump price is established by each dropzone. Our association has a fixed price of 26€, and if you don't have your own parachute, a rental costs 7€. Over a year, this represents a significant amount. But the truth is, throwing yourself out of a plane is so thrililing that it's a really good yield cost/adrenaline.

Does weather matter ?
To jump safely, we need at least 2 things :
- A good visibility : it is impossible to jump with a cloud layer or fog because it prevents us from seeing the ground below.
- A weak wind or no wind : When landing, we have to face the wind to decrease our speed, however, if the wind is too strong, it will make us move backward. As a consequence, the wind limit is 11 m/s ( about 40 km/h, 25 mph).
